Archiving a Shared Saved View

When you want to hide a shared saved view without deleting it, archiving is the way to go. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Log in as the Recipient (We’ll refer to this as User B)
    Navigate to the Applicants & Personnel table.
  2. Find the Saved View
    Locate the saved view you’d like to archive.
  3. Archive the Saved View
    Click the “three dots” dropdown next to the saved view and select "Archive."
  4. Confirm Archiving
    You’ll be asked to confirm your choice. Click "Confirm" to archive the view.

What Happens When a Saved View is Archived?

  • For the Recipient (User B):
    • The archived saved view will be moved to the "Archived Views" section.
    • The view can no longer be copied while it’s archived.
    • You can unarchive it whenever you need to.
  • For the Owner (User A):
    • Nothing changes for the owner. They can still access and make changes to the saved view, and it won’t be archived on their end.

Unarchiving a Shared Saved View

If you decide to unarchive a saved view, here’s how you can do it:

  1. Log in as the Recipient (User B)
    Navigate to the Applicants & Personnel table.
  2. Find the Archived View
    Go to the "Archived Views" section under the “Shared Views” tab.
  3. Unarchive the View
    Click the “three dots” dropdown next to the archived saved view and select "Unarchive."
  4. Confirm Unarchiving
    Confirm your decision to unarchive the saved view.

What Happens When a Saved View is Unarchived?

  • For the Recipient (User B):
  • For the Owner (User A):
    • Nothing changes for the owner. The view will appear as it did before it was archived.
